Disclosed in the present application are a beam management method and an apparatus therefor, and a storage medium and a program product. The beam management method is used for a transmitting apparatus, and comprises: configuring reference signal resources in at least some of all the beam sending directions, so as to obtain a plurality of target test beams; sending the plurality of target test beams to a receiving apparatus; receiving beam measurement information, which is sent by the receiving apparatus, wherein the beam measurement information is obtained by means of the receiving apparatus measuring the reference signal resources; performing prediction according to the beam measurement information, so as to obtain an optimal beam result; and sending optimal receiving mode information to the receiving apparatus according to the optimal beam result, wherein the optimal receiving mode information corresponds to the optimal beam result.
