Abstract:
A bearer establishment method and system is disclosed. In the method, the MME transmits the handover request message containing the information of the aggregate maximum bit rate, namely AMBR, to the target BS. With the technical solution, the AMBR information is transmitted to the target BS on the S1-MME interface from the MME when the handover through the MME happens, so that the target BS can obtain the AMBR information and achieve the establishment of the bearer.
