Abstract:
In an aspect of the disclosure, a method and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a relay UE. The relay UE receives a first reconfiguration message from a first remote UE. The relay UE transmits a first reconfiguration complete message to the first remote UE. The relay UE further establishes a first RLC channel between the first remote UE and the relay UE, the first RLC channel being associated with a first value of an end-to-end identifier. The relay UE receives an incoming transmission on the first RLC channel, the incoming transmission including at least a data packet and the first value of the end-to-end identifier. The relay UE transmits an outgoing transmission on the second RLC channel, the outgoing transmission including at least the data packet and the second value of the end-to-end identifier.
