Description:
BEATING BLADE AND BEATING DEVICE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF SUCH BLADES

The present invention relates to a beating blade and to a beating device comprising a plurality of said blades .

In the art , beating devices are known, consisting of a series of thin sheets , suitable for performing a mechanical action capable of removing bud from wild plants or serments .

However, these known devices have blades ( lamellae ) comprising angular or rounded beating profiles with minimum radii of curvature ( about 2 mm) which, due to their speci fic conformation, tear the gems from the serments breaking the bark and making the serments themselves useless for further uses .

Furthermore , other known devices can be summari zed in three di f ferent types :

• metal knives ;

• chip removal cutters ;

• spatulas with polymeric bristles . The first two devices involve onerous cutting height control mechanisms , as damage to the screen of the serment would result in the waste of the product , considering the irregularity of the surface of the sermento to be processed .

To the spatulas with polymeric bristles , frequent maintenance is attributed due to the short duration of the bristles , with expensive maintenance interventions , but also a conspicuous variation of the characteristics , mainly due to the variation of the profile , and of the length of the bristle , during the process .

Therefore , obj ect of the present invention is solving the aforesaid prior art problems by providing a beating blade which allows reducing the wounds of the bark of the serments so as to be able to use them again .

Another obj ect of the present invention is providing a beating device comprising a plurality of the aforesaid blades and which similarly allows reducing the wounds of the bark of the serments so as to be able to use them again .

The aforesaid and other obj ects and advantages of the invention, as will emerge from the following description, are achieved with a beating blade and a beating device such as those described m the respective main claims . Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variants of the present invention form the subj ect matter of the dependent claims .

It is understood that all attached claims form an integral part of the present description .

It will be immediately obvious that innumerable variations and modi fications ( for example relating to shape , dimensions , arrangements and parts with equivalent functionality) can be made to what is described, without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims .

The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments , provided by way of non-limiting example , with reference to the attached drawings , in which :

- FIG . 1 shows a front view of a preferred embodiment of the beating blade according to the present invention;

- FIG . 2 shows a perspective view of a pack of beating blades of the beating device according to the present invention .

With reference to the Figures , it can be noted that the beating blade 1 according to the present invention comprises at least one beating profile 3 having a radius of curvature between 3 mm and 5 mm .

Preferably, this radius of curvature of the beating profile 3 is substantially equal to 4 mm .

Preferably, the beating blade 1 is made of Denyl 6® material .

The beating blade 1 can also comprise at least one through hole 5 for the insertion of at least one pin in order to create a pack of blades 1 for a beating device .

The present invention also relates to a beating device (not shown) comprising a plurality of blades 1 according to the present invention .

Preferably, the beating device according to the present invention comprises , in a substantially known manner, two mutually facing crowns which, preferably along their periphery, hold a plurality of pins (not shown) : advantageous ly, these pins are operatively connected to a plural ity of the beating blades 1 according to the present invention through said through holes 5 , making at least one pack 10 of said beating lamellas 1 , as shown in particular in FIG . 2 .

In particular, the removal of the gems on the serment , or protruding parts , occurs by means of each single blade 1 , free to rotate around the respective pin, which acts as a tool , with the particularity of not damaging the product due to the geometry of the beating profi le 3 which is more rounded than that proposed by the known art , free from edges , and with the ability to perform a brushing movement .

Advantageously, the centri fugal forces that generate a radial component tend to stabili ze the blade 1 , but when contact occurs with the body protruding from the obj ect , the blade 1 loses speed and oscillates on the pin, without damaging the other parts of the long or thin obj ect , and in this particular case , the bark of the wild or the serment .

Furthermore , the adj ustment of the removal quantity is simply adj ustable by the rotation speed of the device , implemented for example , with a simple potentiometer, of fering considerable time advantages compared to a tool replacement intervention, as in the cases listed above , with obvious advantages of cost-ef fectiveness of the operation .

Some embodiments of the invention have been described, but o f course they are susceptible of further modifications and variations within the scope of the same inventive idea.
