Abstract:
In the present invention, a belt type paper money counting machine comprises a belt transfer part formed in a shape of a belt for transferring paper money, a paper money storing part which is formed in an upper side of the belt transfer part for arranging and storing the paper money, a paper money counting part which counts the paper money supplied by means of the belt transfer part, an ejection storing part which stores the paper money supplied by means of the paper money counting part, a counting controller which externally receives an operation signal and controls the operation of each element, and a counting frame which accommodates the above elements and is formed in a box shape.

Claims

[1] A belt type paper money counting machine, comprising: a belt transfer part formed in a shape of a belt for transferring paper money; a paper money storing part 210 which is formed in an upper side of the belt transfer part for arranging and storing the paper money; a paper money counting part which counts the paper money supplied by means of the belt transfer part; an ejection storing part 400 which stores the paper money supplied by means of the paper money counting part; a counting controller 500 which externally receives an operation signal and controls the operation of each element; and a counting frame 200 which accommodates the above elements and is formed in a box shape, wherein said belt transfer part includes a transfer belt contacting with the paper money and performing a transfer operation, a transfer winding wheel part 121 drivingly connected with a transfer driving motor 123 for winding and driving one side of the transfer belt 110, an idle winding wheel part 122 for winding and supporting the other side of the transfer belt 110, and a transfer limit roller 130 for allowing one sheet of paper money to transfer during a paper money transfer process while rolling and contacting with a front upper side of the transfer belt

110, and wherein said transfer unit 110 includes a paper money transfer protrusion 111 continuously protruded in a longitudinal direction for minimizing friction paper stored in outer side, and an engaging groove part 112 having a groove in a widthwise direction by one sheet of the paper money arranged and stored, and wherein said transfer limit roller 130 includes an engaging protrusion part 131 engaged with the groove of the paper money transfer protrusion 111.

[2] The machine of claim 1, wherein said paper money storing part 210 includes a paper money storing detection unit 211 for detecting a state that the stored paper money exceeds a certain amount, and said paper money counting part includes a transfer start detection unit 310 for detecting a transfer start of the paper money transferred by means of the belt transfer part using an optical transmission signal, and a transfer completion detection part 320 for detecting a state that an end of the paper money transferred by means of the belt transfer part is transferred to the ejection storing part 400 by means of an optical transmission signal, and a checking door 410 is provided in a counting frame 200 of one side of the ejection storing part 400 for checking the ejection storing part 400, and an ejection dooOr 420 for sealing the ejection storing unit 400 in the side of the ejection part of the

front side of the ejection storing part 400 while being opened by means of the paper money 10.

[3] The machine of claim 1, wherein an ejection apparatus is provided for ejecting paper money stored in the ejection storing part 400 when the counting of the paper money is completed in accordance with a control of the counting control unit 500, and said ejection apparatus includes an ejection belt 711 which is provided in both sides of the ejection storing part 400 and is wound on at least two pressing rollers 731 for applying an ejection force to the stored paper money 10, an ejection driving motor 720 for rotating while being drivingly engaged with one pressing roller 731 between two pressing rollers 731 which wind the ejection belt 711, an ejection pressing part 731 for pressing an upper side of the paper money 10 stored in an upper side of the ejection belt 711 so that a friction force of the ejection belt 711 and the paper money 10, a pressing up and down actuator 732 which is linked with the ejection pressing member 731 for moving up and down the ejection pressing part 731 in accordance with a control of the counting control part 500, and an ejection detection part 741 formed of an optical sensor in the side of the ejection part of the ejection storing part 400 for thereby detecting an ejection completion of the paper money, and said ejection pressing part 731 includes an up and down guide 734 vertically provided in the counting frame 200 for guiding an up and down moving, and a connection link 733 which moves up and down by means of the ejection pressing part 731 by means of the pressing up and down actuator 732.

[4] The machine of claim 3, wherein an error counted paper money returning container 610 is provided in a lower side of the ejection storing part 400 for reverse-operating the ejection belt 711 in accordance with a control of the counting control unit 500 when judging an error counting depending on a judgment on a state that an optical transmission signal detected and received from the paper money counting part when at least two paper money 10 is supplied together or a counterfeit bill is supplied is matched with an optical transmission signal of the paper money 10 recorded on the counting control unit 500, and then the error counted paper money returning container 610 receives the same, and a returning paper money detection unit 742 is formed of a light emitting sensor and a light receiving sensor in a rear side of the ejection storing part 400.

[5] The machine of one among claims 1 through 3, wherein an ejection blade 751 contacting with a lower side of the winding wheel part of the paper money ejection between the transfer winding wheel part 121 and the idle winding wheel 122 is provided in both sides and is formed in a radial shape so that the paper

money 10 transferred by means of the transfer belt 110 of the belt transfer part is transferred toward the ejection storing part 400 in a slanted shape can be smoothly ejected.

[6] The machine of one among claims 1 through 3, wherein said ejection storing part

400 includes a paper money pressing part 761 of which an upper side is hinged in an upper side of the ejection storing part 400, and a lower side contacts with a bottom of the ejection storing part 400 by means of the weight of the paper money while being extended in an ejection direction of the paper money for thereby preventing the paper money ejected by means of the belt transfer part in a slanted angle from being floated or from being folded by means of other paper money.

[7] The machine of one among claims 1 through 3, wherein a paper money elastic support part 762 is provided for elastically supporting a lower side of the paper money 10 ejected and stored in the ejection storing part 400 so that the ejected paper money first ejected is not stuck in the ejection storing part 400, and the paper money elastic support part 762 is engaged in a bottom of the ejection storing part 400 is downwardly slanted in an ejection direction of the paper money with one end of the same being engaged in a bottom of the ejection storing part 400.

Description A BELT TYPE PAPER MONEY COUNTING MACHINE

Technical Field

[1] The present invention relates to a belt type paper money counting machine, and in particular to a belt type paper money counting machine in which paper money is transferred by means of a belt transfer part, so a lot of paper can be reliably and accurately counted and stored.

Background Art

[3] Generally, a paper money counting machine is directed to more reliably and accurately counting paper money and securities in an automated method, and it is used in all kinds of banks.

[4] In a conventional paper money counting machine, paper money is vertically arranged and fed one by one by rotating a wheel having a counting groove for thereby counting paper money.

[5] However, in the above conventional paper money counting machine, paper money to be counted is vertically arranged and stored, so a counting amount of paper money is disadvantageously limited.

[6] In addition, a conventional paper money counting machine is designed to stop in case of an error in a stacking mechanism of paper money or an operation of machine, so it cannot be adapted to an automated machine such as a vending machine or something.

Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem

[8] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a belt type paper money counting machine which is capable of overcoming the problems encountered in the conventional art in which a countable amount of paper money is limited, and a conventional counting machine cannot be used in a vending machine.

Technical Solution

[10] To achieve the above object, there is provided a belt type paper money counting machine which includes a paper money storing part for stacking and storing paper money in multiple layers, and a belt transfer part for transferring formed in a lower side of the same for transferring the stored paper money.

Advantageous Effects

[12] The belt type paper money counting machine according to the present invention is characterized in that a lot of paper money can be stored and counted, and a transfer for counting is implemented by means of a belt transfer part, and the transfer of paper money is reliable and accurate, so the present invention can be well applied to an automated machine such as a vending machine or something.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[25] In the present invention, a belt type paper money counting machine comprises a belt transfer part formed in a shape of a belt for transferring paper money; a paper money storing part 210 which is formed in an upper side of the belt transfer part for arranging and storing the paper money; a paper money counting part which counts the paper money supplied by means of the belt transfer part; an ejection storing part 400 which stores the paper money supplied by means of the paper money counting part; a counting controller 500 which externally receives an operation signal and controls the operation of each element; and a counting frame 200 which accommodates the above elements and is formed in a box shape, wherein the belt transfer part includes a transfer

belt contacting with the paper money and performing a transfer operation, a transfer winding wheel part 121 drivingly connected with a transfer driving motor 123 for winding and driving one side of the transfer belt 110, an idle winding wheel part 122 for winding and supporting the other side of the transfer belt 110, and a transfer limit roller 130 for allowing one sheet of paper money to transfer during a paper money transfer process while rolling and contacting with a front upper side of the transfer belt 110, and wherein the transfer unit 110 includes a paper money transfer protrusion 111 continuously protruded in a longitudinal direction for minimizing friction paper stored in outer side, and an engaging groove part 112 having a groove in a width wise direction by one sheet of the paper money arranged and stored, and wherein the transfer limit roller 130 includes an engaging protrusion part 131 engaged with the groove of the paper money transfer protrusion 111. Mode for the Invention

[27] The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[28] In a paper money counting machine according to the present invention, a lot of paper money can be reliably stored and counted, and a reliable transfer of paper money can be obtained with the helps of a belt transfer method.

[29] As shown in Figure 1 through 3, a belt type paper money counting machine comprises a belt transfer part formed in a shape of a belt for transferring paper money, a paper money storing part 210 which is formed in an upper side of the belt transfer part for arranging and storing the paper money, a paper money counting part which counts the paper money supplied by means of the belt transfer part, an ejection storing part 400 which stores the paper money supplied by means of the paper money counting part, a counting controller 500 which externally receives an operation signal and controls the operation of each element, and a counting frame 200 which accommodates the above elements and is formed in a box shape.

[30] The belt transfer part includes a transfer belt contacting with the paper money and performing a transfer operation, a transfer winding wheel part 121 drivingly connected with a transfer driving motor 123 for winding and driving one side of the transfer belt 110, an idle winding wheel part 122 for winding and supporting the other side of the transfer belt 110, and a transfer limit roller 130 for allowing one sheet of paper money to transfer during a paper money transfer process while rolling and contacting with a front upper side of the transfer belt 110.

[31] The transfer unit 110 includes a paper money transfer protrusion 111 continuously protruded in a longitudinal direction for minimizing friction paper stored in outer side,

and an engaging groove part 112 having a groove in a widthwise direction by one sheet of the paper money arranged and stored, and wherein the transfer limit roller 130 includes an engaging protrusion part 131 engaged with the groove of the paper money transfer protrusion 111.

[32] As shown in Figure 3, the paper money storing part 210 includes a paper money storing detection unit 211 for detecting a state that the stored paper money exceeds a certain amount.

[33] As shown in Figure 4, the paper money counting part includes a transfer start detection unit 310 for detecting a transfer start of the paper money transferred by means of the belt transfer part using an optical transmission signal, and a transfer completion detection part 320 for detecting a state that an end of the paper money transferred by means of the belt transfer part is transferred to the ejection storing part 400 by means of an optical transmission signal. Here, the transfer detection part 310 and the transfer completion detection part 320 are formed on optical sensors consisting of a light emitting sensor and a light receiving sensor which are opposite to each other.

[34] The checking door 410 is provided in a counting frame 200 of one side of the ejection storing part 400 for checking the ejection storing part 400, and an ejection dooOr 420 for sealing the ejection storing unit 400 in the side of the ejection part of the front side of the ejection storing part 400 while being opened by means of the paper money 10.

[35] In the embodiment of the present invention, an ejection apparatus is provided for ejecting paper money stored in the ejection storing part 400 when the counting of the paper money is completed in accordance with a control of the counting control unit 500. As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the ejection apparatus includes an ejection belt 711 which is provided in both sides of the ejection storing part 400 and is wound on at least two pressing rollers 731 for applying an ejection force to the stored paper money 10, and an ejection driving motor 720 for rotating while being drivingly engaged with one pressing roller 731 between two pressing rollers 731 which wind the ejection belt 711, an ejection pressing part 731 for pressing an upper side of the paper money 10 stored in an upper side of the ejection belt 711 so that a friction force of the ejection belt 711 and the paper money 10, a pressing up and down actuator 732 which is linked with the ejection pressing member 731 for moving up and down the ejection pressing part 731 in accordance with a control of the counting control part 500, and an ejection detection part 741 formed of an optical sensor in the side of the ejection part of the ejection storing part 400 for thereby detecting an ejection completion of the paper money,

[36] The ejection pressing part 731 includes an up and down guide 734 vertically provided in the counting frame 200 for guiding an up and down moving, and a connection link 733 which moves up and down by means of the ejection pressing part

731 by means of the pressing up and down actuator 732.

[37] According to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, an error counted paper money returning container 610 is provided in a lower side of the ejection storing part 400 for reverse-operating the ejection belt 711 in accordance with a control of the counting control unit 500 when judging an error counting depending on a judgment on a state that an optical transmission signal detected and received from the paper money counting part when at least two paper money 10 is supplied together or a counterfeit bill is supplied is matched with an optical transmission signal of the paper money 10 recorded on the counting control unit 500, and then the error counted paper money returning container 610 receives the same, and a returning paper money detection unit 742 is formed of a light emitting sensor and a light receiving sensor in a rear side of the ejection storing part 400.

[38] According to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, an ejection blade 751 contacting with a lower side of the winding wheel part of the paper money ejection between the transfer winding wheel part 121 and the idle winding wheel 122 is provided in both sides and is formed in a radial shape so that the paper money 10 transferred by means of the transfer belt 110 of the belt transfer part is transferred toward the ejection storing part 400 in a slanted shape can be smoothly ejected. As shown in Figure 6, the ejection blade 751 is engaged at both sides of the ejection engaging roller 752 engaged with a lower center of the winding wheel part of the side of the ejection and integrally rotates.

[39] According to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figure 7, the ejection storing part 400 includes a paper money pressing part 761 of which an upper side is hinged in an upper side of the ejection storing part 400, and a lower side contacts with a bottom of the ejection storing part 400 by means of the weight of the paper money while being extended in an ejection direction of the paper money for thereby preventing the paper money ejected by means of the belt transfer part in a slanted angle from being floated or from being folded by means of other paper money.

[40] As shown in Figure 8, a paper money elastic support part 762 is provided for elastically supporting a lower side of the paper money 10 ejected and stored in the ejection storing part 400 so that the ejected paper money first ejected is not stuck in the ejection storing part 400, and the paper money elastic support part 762 is engaged in a bottom of the ejection storing part 400 is downwardly slanted in an ejection direction of the paper money with one end of the same being engaged in a bottom of the ejection storing part 400.

[41] The operation of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[42] The belt type paper money counting machine comprises a belt transfer part formed in

a shape of a belt for transferring paper money, a paper money storing part 210 which is formed in an upper side of the belt transfer part for arranging and storing the paper money, a paper money counting part which counts the paper money supplied by means of the belt transfer part, an ejection storing part 400 which stores the paper money supplied by means of the paper money counting part, a counting controller 500 which externally receives an operation signal and controls the operation of each element, and a counting frame 200 which accommodates the above elements and is formed in a box shape. With the above construction, as shown in Figures 9 and 10, it is possible to count a lot of paper money 10 at one time by means of a stacked storage of the paper money 10, and the present invention can be well applied to an automated machine line a vending machine.

[43] A multiple counting detection and counterfeit bill detection of the paper money 10 are possible with the help of a light transmission signal which transmits the paper money 10.

[44] As shown in Figure 11, with the installation of an error counted paper money returning apparatus, it is possible to return an error counted paper money, and a paper money counting work can continue to perform.

[45] With the installation of an ejection apparatus, the paper money counted after the completion of a paper money counting work can be automatically ejected from an ejection storing part 400.

[46] There is provided an ejection blade 751 engaged with both lower sides of a winding wheel part of the side of a paper money ejection, so the paper money 10 can be efficiently ejected from the ejection storing part 400 with the help of the belt transfer part. So, the ejection of the paper money 10 can be efficiently ejected toward the ejection storing part 400 with an enhanced ejection by means of the ejection blade 751.

[47] A paper money 761 can be provided in the ejection storing part 400 and can be stably pressed by means of a paper money pressing part 761 which moves up and down by the weight of the paper money 10 ejected toward the ejection storing part 400 by means of the belt transfer part, so the ejected paper money 10 is prevented from being folded.

[48] With the installation of a paper money elastic support part 762 in the ejection storing part 400, the lower sides of the paper money 10, which is first ejected, are supported by means of the paper money elastic support part 762, so that the paper money is reliably ejected while being not stuck in the ejection belt 711.

Industrial Applicability

[50] As described above, the present invention is able to store and count a lot of paper

money, and the paper money to be counted is transferred by means of a belt transfer part, so the transfer is reliable and accurate. So, the present invention can be well applied to an automated machine such as a vending machine or something.

[51] In addition, it is advantageous that a paper money counting part is provided for counting paper money with the help of an optical sensor, so a multiple counting detection and a counterfeit bill detection can be obtained in the present invention.

[52] According to another embodiment of the present invention, there is an error counted paper money returning apparatus for returning in case of error counting, so a paper money counting work can continue to perform.

[53] In addition, there is provided an ejection apparatus according to another embodiment of the present invention, so the counted paper money after the counting of the paper money is completed is automatically fed to the user.

[54] An ejection blade engaged with both lower sides of the winding wheel part of the side of the paper money ejection of the belt transfer part is provided, so an ejection of the paper money ejected by means of the belt transfer part is enhanced, and the ejection toward the ejection storing part is reliable.

[55] A paper money part is provided in the ejection storing part, and the paper money to be ejected toward the ejection storing part is stably pressed by means of the paper money pressing part which moves up and down by means of the weight of the paper money. So, it is possible to prevent the paper money from being folded.

[56] A paper money support part is provided in the ejection storing part, and the lower sides of the paper money which is first ejected are elastically supported, so the paper money can be smoothly ejected and stored without being stuck in the ejection belt.
