Abstract:

Provided are: a bending press device that can appropriately manage the amount of seam gap in an open pipe; and a device for producing a steel pipe. The bending press device, which is provided with an open seam edge measurement device that measures the amount of seam gap at an open pipe and sets the rolling reduction of a punch, is characterized in that the open seam edge measurement device has a control unit, a detection circuit, a light receiver, and a projector provided to the punch, measures the amount of gap of the open seam edge of an open pipe that is a molded member and a punch support unit, and controls the punch rolling reduction on the basis of the amount of gap.
