Title:
BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/109974
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Betterment introduced to extruding machine for application of special mass over profiles by compression, projected to speed up and improve the quality of the process to cover profiles of wood or similar material, characterized by being constituted by a machine formed by one or two pressure air chambers (1), a piston (2) exerting pressure over the special mass (M) as internally contained, which is sent by means of ducts (3) to the extrusion box (4) having a region to couple inlet and outlet molds (5) for extrusion, compatible with the shape of the profile (P), which enters through one face, passes through the extrusion box (4) which special mass (M) as internally contained is under pressure and washes the profile (P) so that, when contacting it, it penetrates through all pores and fills in even possible imperfections as contained, subsequently leaving the profile (Pl) by the other face, where the outlet mold (5) retaining the special mass (M) excess within the extrusion box (4) is located, making it leave free of imperfections, ready to receive the final finishing as desired.

CLAIMS - "BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR

APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION", characterized by being constituted by one or two pressure air chambers (1), a piston (2) exerting pressure over the special mass (M) as internally contained, which is sent by means of ducts (3) to the extrusion box (4) having a region to couple inlet and outlet molds (5) for extrusion, compatible with the shape of the profile (P), which enters through one face, passes through the extrusion box (4) which special mass (M) as internally contained is under pressure and washes the profile (P) so that, when contacting it, it penetrates through all pores and fills in even possible imperfections as contained, subsequently leaving the profile (Pl) by the other face, where the outlet mold (5) retaining the special mass (M) excess within the extrusion box (4) is located, making it leave free of imperfections, ready to receive the final finishing as desired. - "BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR

APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION" of claim 1, characterized by being constituted by an extrusion box (4) which, due to the existing internal pressure, makes the special mass (M) penetrate through all pores and imperfections of the profile (Pl) of wood or other similar material.

Description:

"BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY

COMPRESSION"

The present description refers to an application for Privilege of Invention for a new and revolutionary "BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION", which purpose is to apply a special mass by compression, so to fill in all pores and imperfections in the profile, preparing it for the steps of painting and general covering, being a machine providing excellent finishing with a reduced number of applications, having been developed from relatively simple lines, but able to meet current requirements and demands from the market.

Extruder-type equipments are currently known from the state of the art, wherein the profile simply passes through the mass, but usually to obtain good results, the profile must pass not less than six times since, besides passing being quick, it does not promote good filling of pores and their failures and also, depending on the profile, be it of wood, and which kind of wood, said number may still be insufficient, since the growing lack of good quality (high density) wood and the growing use of low quality and low density species has made this become a growing difficulty in the market.

Various alternative processes have been developed by users, in an attempt to overcome such specific problems, all of which are widely used in the state of the art, despite being equally poor.

To solve such inconveniences in a practical and economical way, after wide research and results from various and repeated studies, the inventor, who is an interested person in the field, created and developed the object of the present patent, aiming to solve said problems and provide a technically correct and functional solution which is, generally and in short summary, the "BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION", object of the present invention, essentially consisting in a

machine which, in a different way from equipments existing in the market, not only extrudes the profile, but also promotes compression of the mass over it, thus guaranteeing its good penetration in pores and good filling of imperfections with one single passage of the profile over it, being developed in a practical way and with low industrial execution cost, but added to the requirements of strength, safety and utility practice.

One of the main purposes of the development of the present invention is to obtain, by means of one single or at most three applications of special mass, perfect finishing to profiles of wood or similar material, no matter the size of pores or imperfections.

Another object of the present invention is to quickly and practically obtain an even better and more resistant final covering result to receive or not finishing painting.

The present Patent of Invention therefore constitutes a "BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR

APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION", with the purpose to reach the above mentioned objects and offer great reliability, thus aiming to obtain a part with truly innovative functional characteristics and with high performance, providing large improvements, being promoted and personalized for being fully distinct from the state of the art and having very attractive plastic configuration.

However, to better understand and explain the detailed description that follows, illustrative figures are presented as attached, to which references are made, so that: - Figure 1: Simplified example perspective view of the extrusion part by compression from the machine with one single piston system;

- Figure 2: Simplified example perspective view of the extrusion part by compression from the machine with double piston system.

According to illustrations and details, the "BETTERMENT

INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION" as proposed herein is constituted by a machine composed by one or two pressure air chambers (1), a piston (2) exerting pressure over the special mass (M) as internally contained, which is sent by means of ducts (3) to the extrusion box (4) having a region to couple inlet and outlet molds (5) for extrusion, compatible with the shape of the profile (P). Therefore, the profile (P) enters a face, passes through the extrusion box (4) which special mass (M) as internally contained is under pressure, and washes the profile (P), so that, upon contact with it, it penetrates through all pores and fills in even possible imperfections as contained, and the profile (Pl) subsequently leaves the other face, where the outlet mold (5) retaining the special mass (M) excess within the extrusion box (4) is located, causing it to leave free of imperfections and ready to receive final finishing as desired. The present description disclosed a new conception of a

"BETTERMENT INTRODUCED TO EXTRUDING MACHINE FOR APPLICATION OF SPECIAL MASS OVER PROFILES BY COMPRESSION", presenting, as we can show from the effected analysis and shown figures, numerous advantages as a function of the differences over existing conventional methods in use, besides constructive and functional technical characteristics which are fully new before the state of the art.

Having therefore disclosed and shown the better way of embodiment as currently contemplated to embody the present invention, numerous modifications and variations in its way of embodiment may be promptly introduced by the experts in the art. It should be understood, however, that the present invention is not limited to the practical aspects of the currently preferred embodiment as shown and disclosed, and that all such modifications and variations should be considered as being covered by the spirit and scope of the invention. For the advantages offered and for having truly innovative technical characteristics, they fulfill all originality and novelty requirements in

the field, thus assembling the required conditions to deserve a Privilege of Invention.
