Abstract:
The present invention relates to a beverage preparation apparatus comprising a beverage preparation capsule, which can be transformed into a predetermined shape by means of external pressure, and a shape transformation member for transforming the shape of the capsule. In order to solve the problem of an existing beverage preparation capsule in which the inside volume of the capsule increases due to generation of gas and a substance for preparing a beverage is uneven, the present invention transforms the shape of a capsule before preparing a beverage, thereby getting rid of an empty space inside the capsule and maintaining the evenness and a fixed height of a substance for preparing the beverage. Therefore, not only can the present invention provide uniform quality beverages by extracting in a fixed extraction time and a fixed extraction concentration but also can extract from a greater amount of ground coffee even when extracting the same amount of beverage, and provide a functionally excellent beverage, since extraction at the same concentration can be performed in a shorter time. Further, even when a large capacity capsule is used, a functionally excellent beverage may be prepared with uniform extraction quality.
