Abstract:
A beverage serving robot (10) recharges a battery with electricity supplied from a station (20). When the beverage serving robot (10) is situated at the station (20) or at a serving position of a beverage, a control device activates a temperature adjustment unit, but stops the operation of the temperature adjustment unit when the beverage serving robot (10) is traveling. In a case where a serving instruction is received from a user while the beverage serving robot (10) is situated at the station (20), the control device determines a travel pathway from the user's positional information and calculates a travel time of the beverage serving robot (10). The control device estimates a temperature change amount of the beverage during the travel time on the basis of the travel time and temperature information inside a facility, and sets a target temperature so as to compensate for the temperature change amount. The control device performs control on the temperature adjustment unit so as to bring the temperature of the beverage to said target temperature, and, in response to the beverage temperature reaching the target temperature, performs control so as to cause a drive unit to start traveling to the serving position.
