Abstract:
A biaxially stretched microporous film characterized by being constituted of a strip polyethylene material which has a film width of 300 mm or more and, with respect to material-property distribution in the film-width direction, having a thickness unevenness set at a value less than 1.00 µm and an air-permeability unevenness set at 50 sec/100 mL or less. Thus, provided is a microporous polyethylene film that is excellent in terms of material-property evenness and flatness, which are required when the film having a large area is used as a separator film for lithium-ion batteries for motor vehicles or domestic use.
