Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a bicycle chain that enables simple and easy maintenance. [Solution] A bicycle chain 10 comprises: an outer link portion 12 having a pair of outer plate portions 12a arranged opposite each other at a predetermined interval; an inner link portion 14 having a pair of inner plate portions 14a provided on the inside of the pair of outer plate portions and arranged so that a part thereof partially overlaps the pair of outer plate portions; a connecting pin portion 18 that penetrates a through-hole section 13 formed in an area of overlap between the outer plate portions 12a and the inner plate portions 14a in order to interconnect the outer plate portions 12a and the inner plate portions 14a; and a roller portion 16 that is disposed on the inside of the pair of inner plate portions 14a and that is freely rotatable around the axis of the connecting pin portion 18. The connecting pin portion 18 has a first pin portion 20 that includes a concave section 24 where a screw thread is formed, and a second pin portion 22 that includes a convex section 28 that is screwed into the concave section of the first pin portion 20.
