Abstract:
In order to assist a bicycle rider in signaling a turn and the like and to improve the visibility, the bicycle helmet 100 according to the present invention is provided with: an inertial sensor 86; a right turn indicator 22 that is visible at least from the rear; a left turn indicator 24 that is visible at least from the rear; and an operation control circuit 82 which is connected to the inertial sensor, the right turn indicator, and the left turn indicator and which controls start of a blinking operation of the right or left turn indicator in accordance with an output signal of the inertial sensor. The present invention also provides an auxiliary lighting device that can be worn together with a conventional helmet.
