Abstract:
Provided is a binder which is for an electrode and exhibits excellent cycle characteristics when used in a power storage device. The binder for an electrode comprises a polymer including: a constitutional unit (A) derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer; a constitutional unit (B) derived from a monomer represented by general formula (1) (in the formula, R1 represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, and R2 represents an aromatic group which may have a substituent); and a constitutional unit (C) derived from a monomer having at least one selected from the group consisting of an epoxy group, a (block)isocyanate group, and a urethane group.
