Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a binder and a preparation method therefor, a positive electrode sheet, a secondary battery, and an electric device. The binder comprises polyvinylidene fluoride with a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000,000-9,000,000. The binder can ensure an electrode sheet to have a sufficient adhesion force and a battery to have improved cycle performance at a low additive amount; and the binder helps to reduce the amount of the binder in the battery, which is beneficial for further improving the loading amount of an active material in the electrode sheet.
