Abstract:

A binder and a preparation method therefor, a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electric apparatus. The binder comprises a copolymer C; and the copolymer C comprises a structural unit derived from a monomer containing a cyano group, a structural unit derived from a monomer containing an ester group, and a structural unit derived from a monomer containing a group represented by formula (I), wherein n is selected from 0, 1, 2 or 3. The binder is high in binding force, the solid content of a slurry containing the binder is high, and the cycle performance of the secondary battery comprising the binder is excellent.
