Abstract:
Provided is a bioabsorbable medical device which is formed from a magnesium alloy that has high strength and low bioabsorption rate. One embodiment of the present invention is a bioabsorbable medical device which is formed from a magnesium alloy comprising a plurality of α-Mg grains that have an average grain diameter of 2 μm or less (preferably, 1.5 μm or less, and more preferably, 1 μm or less).
