Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biodegradable absorbent pad and, more specifically, to an inkless-printing-type biodegradable absorbent pad using a hydrophilic PLA nonwoven fabric, and a manufacturing method therefor, the pad being printable without ink while improving absorption power, which is a disadvantage of a hydrophobic PLA nonwoven fabric. The inkless-printing-type biodegradable absorbent pad using a hydrophilic PLA nonwoven fabric, according to the present invention, comprises: an upper layer made of a biodegradable film; a middle layer made of an absorbent; and a lower layer made of a PLA nonwoven fabric coated with a water-soluble polymer, wherein the PLA nonwoven fabric becomes hydrophilic by being dipped into a mixture in which 0.03-0.1 wt% of at least one or two types of water-soluble polymer from among carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), hydroxymethyl cellulose (HEC), hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC), methyl cellulose (MC), polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), xanthan, ethyl cellulose (EC), hydroxymethyl methacrylate (HEMA), starch, agar and sodium alginate are dissolved in 99.9-99.97 wt% of purified water, and then being dried with hot air at 60-100°C.
