Abstract:
This biodegradable lubricating oil composition is characterized in being obtained by blending: an ester (A) obtained by reacting a straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid, a straight-chain aliphatic divalent carboxylic acid, and a polyhydric alcohol; an ester (B) obtained by reacting a straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol; and a phosphate ester amine salt (C) obtained by reacting an acidic phosphate ester and an alkylamine, wherein the straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid in the component (A) comprises a C8 straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid and a C10 straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid, and the molar quantity of the C8 straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid is greater than the molar quantity of the C10 straight-chain saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid.
