Abstract:
An embodiment relates to a biodegradable polyester resin, a method for preparing same, and a biodegradable polyester film comprising same. The biodegradable polyester resin has a peak at a specific diffraction angle (2θ) in the X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectrum and satisfies a specific crystal size, thus having excellent crystallinity and thermal stability, and thus can improve all of mechanical properties, dimensional stability, and formability. Therefore, the biodegradable polyester resin according to an embodiment can exhibit excellent characteristics when used in various fields that require heat resistance, mechanical properties, dimensional stability, and formability, such as in packaging materials, e.g., disposable bags or food containers, and interior materials for automobiles.
