Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a biogas power generator that generates power by mixing and combusting biogas; a monitoring system monitoring same; and a monitoring method. The biogas power generator having a variable intercooler using IOT, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an engine which is driven by the supply of supply air that has been mixed with biogas; a variable intercooler having a heat exchanger which cools the supply air provided to the engine, the size of which changes, and which cools the supply air through heat exchange with external air; and a power generation device that generates power by means of the driving force of the engine, wherein the variable intercooler comprises a supply air temperature sensor which measures the temperature of supply air that has passed through the variable intercooler and is discharged, and the variable intercooler also comprises a variation controller which controls the variation in the size of the variable intercooler on the basis of the temperature measured buy the supply air temperature sensor. Thus, by monitoring the operation state of the intercooler, it is possible to increase the output and reduce exhaust fumes.
