Abstract:
Provided is a biological information monitoring device which suppresses the impact of electromagnetic waves on a fetus and/or a pregnant woman. This biological information monitoring device is equipped with: a fabric formed so as to be wearable in a manner such that at least part of the abdomen of a pregnant woman is covered; a sensor which detects a biological signal from the abdomen and is mounted to the fabric; a control unit for controlling the sensor; a wiring layer for connecting the sensor and the control unit; and an electromagnetic shield which is capable of suppressing the propagation of electromagnetic waves produced by one or more elements from among the sensor, the control unit and the wiring layer, and is positioned between the abdomen of the pregnant woman and the one or more elements from among the sensor, the control unit and the wiring layer when the device is worn.
