Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of water-retaining materials, and in particular, to a biological water-retaining material, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. In order to solve the problem in the prior art of there being a lack of a biological water-retaining material that fully combines a water-retaining material and a microorganism bacterial agent, and increases the afforestation survival rate in a drought environment from the two perspectives of increasing the moisture content of soil and enhancing the drought resistance of plants, the present invention provides Bacillus subtilis, wherein the strain is classified and named as Bacillus subtilis GE1, which has been deposited at the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center on January 7, 2016, with a deposit number of CGMCC No. 11964. The biological water-retaining material is suitable for use in drought and water shortage conditions, can sufficiently exert the coupling effect of water retention and the bacterial agent, increases the afforestation survival rate in a drought environment from the two perspectives of increasing the moisture content of soil and enhancing the drought resistance of the plant, and promotes the growth of seedlings.
