Abstract:
The present invention provides a biosensor for the simultaneous measurement of glucose and lactate, the biosensor comprising: a base on a plate; a first reaction electrode unit that is formed on one side of the upper surface of the base, and reacts with a whole blood sample to emit electrons according to the concentration of glucose contained in the whole blood; a second reaction electrode unit that is formed adjacent to the first reaction electrode unit on the upper surface of the base, and reacts with the whole blood sample to emit electrons according to the concentration of lactate contained in the whole blood; a counter electrode unit which is formed on the upper surface of the base and around the first reaction electrode unit and the second reaction electrode unit, and through which electricity applied to the first reaction electrode unit and the second reaction electrode unit selectively flows; and an insulating cover bonded to the upper surface of the base and exposing the first reaction electrode unit, the second reaction electrode unit, and the counter electrode unit to the outside through a hole formed on one side, wherein a single drop of the whole blood sample is used to simultaneously measure the concentrations of glucose and lactate.
