Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of video coding, and provides a bitrate estimation device. The device comprises: a context initialization device for providing an initial state, a bitrate estimation control device for controlling the starting and stopping of bitrate estimation, a header information bitrate estimation device, a header information context maintenance device, a residual error information bitrate estimation device, a residual error information context maintenance device, a header information bitrate statistics device and a bitrate statistics device, wherein the bitrate estimates output by the residual error information bitrate estimation device and the header information bitrate estimation device are classified and counted by the bitrate statistics device to obtain a final bitrate estimate. Provided are a practical hardware implementation solution and a processing process, thereby providing a bitrate estimation function with a high compression rate and high accuracy for an encoder from the hardware level.
