Abstract:
An optimum design method for a horizontal belt type washing machine and an optimum operating method for the washing machine for extracting black liquor produced in the manufacturing of alkaline straw pulp at a high rate, wherein a backwashing is performed by using the horizontal belt type washing machine to extract the black liquor, the horizontal belt type washing machine is manufactured by the optimum design method led from the water filterability and washability of the straw pulp, and the washing machine is operated under optimum operating conditions formed by integrating the overall pulp manufacturing workshops, an alkali recovery workshop, and a drain treatment workshop, whereby an extraction rate of 90% or more and a reduction in pulp manufacturing cost can be achieved.
