Abstract:

A centrifugal blower having a resin blade wheel of a type that sucks a gas from the rotating shaft direction and blows the gas out in the direction intersecting the rotating shaft, where the blade wheel can be reduced in weight even if blades each extending while being twisted toward the axis direction are adopted. A blade wheel (42) of a blower (4) has an end plate (43), blades (44), and an end ring (45). A blade (44) is composed of a blade body (51) and a blade cover (61). The blade body (51) is fixed to the end plate (43) arranged in an annular pattern with a shaft (41a) as the center. The blade cover (61) is attached to the blade body (51) to form a hollow space (S) between itself and the blade body (51). The end ring (45) is disposed so as to hold the blades (44) between itself and the end plate (43) in the axial direction and is fixed to the end plate (43). The blade cover (61) is disposed so as to form at least a portion of a negative pressure surface (44f) of a blade (44).
