Abstract:
Provided are a blister packaging machine and a method for manufacturing a blister pack, which can prevent problems caused by sagging of a container film or the like. A blister pack 1 is manufactured through a step of forming a pocket portion 2 in a belt-shaped container film 3 after the container film 3 is preheated to a softened state while the container film 3 is being conveyed. At least during a period from the preheating step of the container film 3 to the completion of the step of forming the pocket portion 2, a predetermined portion of the container film 3 is supported by a support belt 21 moving in synchronization with the conveyed container film 3. As a result, the container film 3 can be supported in a state where the applied load is minimized, and sagging of the container film 3 can be effectively suppressed even when the preheating temperature of the container film 3 is increased to cope with heat treatment such as retort sterilization.
