Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin having excellent solubility in alcohols and adhesiveness to nonpolar base materials such as polyolefins that is also chlorine-free and to provide a resin composition including urethane resin that does not cause problems with dehydrochlorination due to external factors, has good compatibility with components containing urethane resin, has good adhesiveness to various base materials, and can be used suitably as an ink, adhesive, and coating. The present invention is a block copolymer comprising a polymer block (A) comprising mainly an olefin monomer and a polymer block (B) comprising a vinyl monomer having a hydroxyl group and another vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the vinyl monomer having a hydroxyl group, the block copolymer having a hydroxyl value of 5-120 mg KOH/g; a dispersion thereof; a resin composition containing this block copolymer and urethane resin; and the use of these.
