Abstract:
An electronic device comprises: a communication circuit; a memory for storing a full ledger for a blockchain network, or a partial ledger including a portion of the full ledger; and a processor, wherein the ledger may comprise one or more blocks corresponding to respective one or more transactions for which the electronic device has participated in a consensus. The processor may: generate a first transaction by using a smart contract containing shared data of the electronic device and information related to an external user who is to be provided with the shared data; request the first transaction to be transmitted to a blockchain network; verify the first transaction by using a node for generating one or more blocks corresponding to respective one or more transactions for which the electronic device has participated in a consensus; transmit the first transaction onto the blockchain network on the basis of confirming the reliability of the first transaction; generate a first block corresponding to the first transaction; verify a second transaction on the basis of receiving, from the blockchain network, the second transaction containing a request for providing the shared data; execute the smart contract on the basis of confirming the reliability of the second transaction; and generate a second block corresponding to the second transaction.
