The present application relates to a blockchain consensus node selection method and apparatus, and a computer device and a storage medium. The method comprises: broadcasting verification information of the present node to the other nodes in a blockchain, and upon receiving a set amount of first verification pass information, determining the present node to be a candidate node; when the present node is a candidate node, broadcasting verification information of the present candidate node to a plurality of candidate nodes in a candidate node set; and upon receiving a set amount of second verification pass information, determining the present candidate node to be a master node. According to the present solution, compared with traditional node selection by means of delegated proof of stake or practical Byzantine fault tolerance, performing multiple rounds of verification by using verification information which is formed on the basis of various node information and verifiable random functions improves randomness of node selection, and prevents network attacks caused by predicting nodes, thereby improving the effect of node security.
