Abstract:

A blood pressure measuring device enabling adequate pressure value derivation even in an environment where the environment temperature is always varying. The blood pressure measuring device comprises a cuff worn at an ear and its peripheral portion, a signal acquiring means for acquiring a pulse signal and/or Korotkoff sound from the portion pressed by the cuff and its peripheral portion, a pressure sensor for outputting a predetermined signal level corresponding to the pressure value in the cuff, temperature measuring means for measuring the temperature around the pressure sensor, blood pressure deriving means for deriving a blood pressure value from the pressure value derived from the signal level, the pulse signal, and/or the Korotkoff sound, and adjusting means for performing adjustment to compensate a characteristic variation of the pressure sensor for the pressure value if the temperature measured by the temperature measuring means varies by a predetermined value or more.
