Abstract:
The present invention relates to a blow molding method wherein a parison extruded from an extruder is subjected to blow molding while being held between a pair of molds. A molded body is shaped to have multiple pieces of products that are connected with each other, and pinch-off is performed only at both ends where the products are not connected with each other, and then the multiple pieces of products are blow-molded as a single unit. For example, in the case where two pieces are to be molded, two pieces of products are connected with each other at one end, the ends at the side where the products are not connected with each other are pinched off, and then the two pieces of products are blow-molded as a single unit. An example of such a molded product is a tubular molded body that is formed by being laid over a preform.
In addition, the tubular molded body which is blow-molded beforehand is loaded inside the preform which is injection-molded beforehand, and the biaxial stretch blow-molding is carried out with the tubular molded body being laid over the inner side of the preform. To load the tubular molded body, an open end of the tubular molded body may be folded back outward to be locked with an open end of the preform.
