Abstract:
A blower device (1) comprises a blower (10), a housing (2), and a trapping part (51). The blower (10) generates an airflow from air. The housing (2) houses the blower (10). The trapping part (51) traps insects. The housing (2) has a blow-out port (5), an intake port (4), and an inflow port (20) for allowing air to flow into the blower (10). The blow-out port (5) blows out the airflow. The intake port (4) takes in air from the outside. The inflow port (20) communicates with the intake port (4). The trapping part (51) is disposed between the intake port (4) and the inflow port (20). The trapping part (51) has an opening (52), an opening/closing part (53), and a reticulated mesh member (M). The opening (52) communicates with the intake port (4). The opening/closing part (53) opens and closes the opening (52). The mesh member (M) allows air to pass through and restricts passage of insects. The mesh member is positioned in a position facing the inflow port (20).
