Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a blower capable for improving cooling efficiency of an electric motor and achieving both downsizing and larger air flow rate. The present invention comprises: an electric motor 100; a rotary shaft 101 rotatably provided to the electric motor 100; a radial impeller 300 provided to the rotary shaft 101; and a fan casing 52 containing the radial impeller 300 therein. The electric motor 100 is cooled in a cooling flow passage through which cooling air flows, and the cooling flow passage is formed of a first cooling flow passage 202 for cooling the periphery of the electric motor 100 and a second cooling flow passage 205 provided between the electric motor 100 and the casing 52.
