Abstract:
An on-board device (2) that is equipped with a function of detecting an abnormality of an on-board system and an interface device (3) that comprises an LED (10) for notifying a vehicle occupant of an abnormal state are connected via a communication channel (4) through which AC signals are transmitted. A cathode of the LED (10) is connected to a body earth of the vehicle, and an anode thereof is connected to a communication line of the communication channel (4) via an inductor (13). Upon detecting an abnormality of the on-board system, the on-board device (2) drives the LED (10) by applying a DC drive signal to the communication line, and notifies the vehicle occupant of the abnormality.
