Abstract:
Provided are an on-board communication system, an on-board relay device, and an on-board control device that improve communication reliability. A first relay device is installed in a first area of a vehicle, and a second relay device is installed in a second area. The first relay device and second relay device are connected across the first area and the second area by a communication trunk line. A main control device and an auxiliary control device are installed in the first area, and are connected to the first relay device by communication branch lines. A controlled device is installed in the second area, and is connected to the second relay device by a communication branch line. A first input device is installed in the first area, and inputs information to the main control device or the auxiliary control device. A second input device is installed in the second area, is connected to the second relay device by a communication branch line, and inputs information via the first relay device and the second relay device to the main control device or the auxiliary control device. The first relay device and controlled device communicate over an auxiliary communication line provided across the first and second areas.
