□ 24. □

As best illustrated in Figures 1 through 7, the bodily washing system 10 generally comprises a tub 12 that has a bottom wall 14 and a peripheral wall 16 extending upwardly from the bottom wall 14. The bottom wall 14 has an upper surface 18 and the peripheral wall 16 has an inwardly facing surface 20. The tub 12 may comprise a plumbing fixture utilized in the convention of residential construction or the like. A plurality of brushes 22 is provided and each of the brushes 22 is removably coupled to the peripheral wall 16. Thus, each of the brushes 22 may scrub a user when the user leans against the brushes 22, and moves in a preferred direction, and with a preferred pressure against the brush 22. As described, scrubbing is also intended to cover other actions related to personal hygiene including, but not limited to rubbing, exfoliating, smoothing, applying, smothering and wiping. Alternatively, the brushes 22 may be attached to the bottom wall 14 of the tub to scrub legs and feet for example, or the rear of the tub 12 to scrub the back of a user whilst they are lying down in the tub 12. Brushes 22 may also be attached to the side of the tub 22 to provide relaxation around the neck and shoulder by pressing the body against the brush 22 and gently moving in a preferred direction. The user may choose the direction to move to maximize the benefit of the device.

Brushes 22 may also be used as bathroom accessories, and may be attached to a chair or other mobility aid for use in a shower for example, Each of the brushes 22 comprises a body 24 that has a first end 26, a second end 28 and an outer surface 30 extending between the first end 26 and the second end 28. The outer surface 30 is concavely arcuate between the first end 26 and the second end 28. The second end 28 has an engaging surface 32. The engaging surface 32 is concavely arcuate and the body 24 is manipulated such that the second end 28 abuts the inwardly facing surface 20 of the tub 12. The body 24 is urged toward the inwardly facing surface 20 such that the engaging surface 32 suctionally engages the inwardly facing surface 20 thereby facilitating the body 24 to be removably coupled to the tub 12. The body 24 may be comprised of a resiliently deformable and fluid impermeable material such as silicone or the like. Alternatively, the body may be made of plastic, or any other suitable material, such as lightweight metals, or any other waterproof material.

A scrubber 34 is provided that has a front surface 36 and a back surface 38. The back surface 38 is coupled to the first end 26 of the body 24. The front surface 36 comprises a textured scrubbing medium 40. Thus, the scrubber 34 may abrade the user when the user leans on the brushes 22 thereby facilitating the scrubber 36 to clean the user. The textured scrubbing medium 40 may comprise an abrasive material such as terry cloth, sponge, loofah, micro fiber, stone or other abrasive materials utilized in the convention of bodily exfoliation and bodily cleaning.

As shown, the brushes 22 are all circular, with a diameter of typically between 5- 50cm. However, other sizes and shapes may be possible for the brushes. Similarly, other shapes may also be envisaged for the brushes, such as square, rectangular, hexagonal, semi-circular, triangular for example, and also irregular shapes, such as in the outline of an animal, for example a frog or duck, or a shape that corresponds to an event or holiday period, such as a Christmas tree, or easter egg shape for example. Also, as shown all brushes 22 are the same shape and size. It is possible that the brushes may be different shapes and sizes, or some of the brushes may be the same, with the rest in different shapes, textures and sizes.

A mat 42 is provided and the mat 42 is removably positioned in the tub 12. The mat 42 is positioned on the bottom wall 14 such that the mat 42 may be stepped upon. The mat 42 has a top surface 44 and a bottom surface 46. The bottom surface 46 abuts the upper surface 18 of the tub 12. The top surface 44 is textured thereby enhancing a grip of the top surface 44. Thus, the mat 42 may prevent the user from slipping in the tub 12 when the user leans against the brushes 22. In an alternative embodiment 48 as shown in figure 6, a plurality of suction cups

50 is provided. Each of the suction cups 50 is coupled to the engaging surface 32 of the body 24. The suction cups 50 are spaced apart from each other and distributed on the engaging surface 32. Each of the suction cups 50 suctionally engages the inwardly facing surface 20 of the tub 12. Thus, the body 24 is removably coupled to the tub 12.

In an alternative embodiment 52 as shown in figure 7, the exposed surface 32 may have a well 27 extending inwardly therein and the well 27 has a bounding edge 29. The bounding edge 29 may have a plurality of channels 31 extending inwardly therein and each of the channels 31 may have a longitudinal portion 33 and a lateral portion 35. The channels 31 may be spaced apart from each other and are distributed around the bounding edge 29.The second end 28 is for attachment to wall 14 or 16, and is preferable attached with water resistant adhesive for example. It is intended that this type of fixing is more permanent than the suction cup, but that the end 28 can be removed relatively easily if required. The embodiment as shown is circular, but other sizes and shapes of device in this embodiment may also be considered, such as square, rectangular, irregular shaped, or shaped in the form of an animal, flower, plant, or a shape that has festive connotations such as Christmas tree or Easter egg for example.

The front surface 36 may have a raised portion 41. The raised portion 41 may have an exposed edge 43 and the exposed edge 43 may have a plurality of tabs 45 extending outwardly therefrom. The tabs 45 may be spaced apart and are distributed around the exposed edge 43. The scrubber 36 may be manipulated to facilitate each of the tabs 45 to engage the longitudinal portion 33 of an associated one of the channels 31. The scrubber 36 may be manipulated to rotate such that each of the tabs 45 travels along the lateral portion 35 of the associated channel 31. Thus, the scrubber 36 may be removably coupled to the body 24. In use, each of the brushes 22 is coupled to the peripheral wall 16 of the tub 12 and the brushes 22 are arranged in a desired pattern. The mat 38 is positioned on the bottom wall 14 of the tub 12. The tub 12 is utilized in the convention of bathing. The user leans against the brushes 22 for the purposes of bodily exfoliation and bodily cleaning. The user stands on the mat 38 while the user leans on the brushes 22 thereby preventing the user from slipping while the user leans against the brushes 22. As shown in figure 5, a selected one of the brushes 22 may be manually scrubbed on the user.

In use, it may also be possible to apply medication, oil, exfoliating or smoothing products or lotion to the textured scrubbing medium 47,to allow this to be applied to a part of the users body, such as the back.

A benefit of this application is in relation to hygiene. The brushes 22 are typically mounted on the wall. This allows the brush to dry quickly after use, and will also prevent the textured scrubbing medium 40, 47 from touching the wall or other unclean surface where they may pick up germs.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, system and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word "comprising" is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article "a" does not exclude the possibility
