Abstract:
A body structure of an automobile, wherein a floor panel (12) has a sandwich structure in which a core (26) is sandwiched and bonded between an outer skin (18) and inner skin (19) made of CFRP, and a first load-dispersing frame (25) extending longitudinally along a side sill (16) is arranged between an energy-absorbing member (23) and the core (26), and therefore, after a locally concentrated load inputted to the side sill (16) by pole impact or the like is absorbed by the collapsing of the energy-absorbing member (23) inside the floor panel (12) underneath the side sill (16), the load is widely dispersed by the first load-dispersing frame (25) to the floor panel (12) farther inward in the vehicle width direction than the side sill (16), and local failure of the floor panel (12) farther inward in the vehicle width direction than the side sill (16) is suppressed. Furthermore, the plate thickness of the outer skin (18) and inner skin (19) made of CFRP can be reduced to lighten the structure by increasing the bending rigidity of the first load-dispersing frame (25).
