Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a body weight support device mounted on a chair (for example, a vehicle seat) and configured to support the body weight of a wearer and to maintain a correct posture of the wearer. A body weight support device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a left member for supporting the wearer's left arm part and a right member for supporting the wearer's right arm part. According to an embodiment of the present invention, each of the left member and the right member of the body weight support device may comprise: a mounting portion coupled to one side of a chair; a rear support portion for supporting the rear part of the wearer; and a front support portion for supporting the front portion of the wearer. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the rear support portion and the front support portion may be coupled such that a space portion is formed therebetween. The space portion formed by the rear support portion and the front support portion may be configured such that the wearer's arm is inserted therein, and may be configured such that the wearer's body weight is supported by the body weight support device.
