Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a boiler equipped with an air supply pre-heating chamber, wherein air supplied from the outside is pre-heated before being supplied to the boiler, thereby making it possible to improve the ability of the boiler to effect combustion while at the same time minimising thermal losses in the combustion chamber such that the thermal efficiency of the boiler is improved. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a boiler incorporating a burner for the combustion of a mixture of air flowing in from the outside and a fuel, a blower for supplying the outside air to the burner, a combustion chamber where the combustion by the burner takes place, and a water tank which is provided around the combustion chamber and accommodates heating water on the inside thereof, wherein: an air supply pre-heating chamber cover is provided on the outside of a combustion chamber cover, which is formed on the outside surface of the combustion chamber, such that an air supply pre-heating chamber is formed in the space between the combustion chamber cover and the air supply pre-heating chamber cover, and the air that flows into the air supply pre-heating chamber is pre-heated, by receiving the heat of combustion in the combustion chamber, before being supplied to the boiler.
