Abstract:
Provided is a bone fracture treatment instrument that can be easily fixed to bones on both sides of a bone fracture site and that can be corrected even if the bones on both sides have shifted. A bone fracture treatment instrument (10) is fixed to bones (31) on both sides of a bone fracture site (30) via screw members (14), wherein the bone fracture treatment instrument comprises: a plurality of through holes (11) into which bolts (14) are inserted; and a communication part (13) that establishes communication between outer edge parts (12) of the plurality of through holes (11) and deforms in shape when subjected to an external force and retains the shape reached upon completion of deformation when the external force is no longer applied. Due to the foregoing, the bone fracture treatment instrument (10) can be fixed to the bones on both sides of the bone fracture site (30) via the screw members (14), and therefore, the bone fracture treatment instrument (10) is easier to fix to the bones on both sides, as compared to a conventional wire-type instrument.
