Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a bone graft material that consists of a demineralized bone only and a bone graft material prepared thereby. According to the present invention, by a preparation method comprising: a step (a) of obtaining demineralized bone powder by demineralizing bone powder; a step (b) of preparing a demineralized bone dough by mixing the demineralized bone and water at a predetermined ratio; and a step (c) of treating the demineralized bone dough in an autoclave, a demineralized bone-derived carrier for preparing a bone graft material is obtained, and a preparation method for a bone graft material, comprising: a step (d) of preparing a mixture for forming a bone graft material by mixing the demineralized bone-derived carrier for preparing a bone graft material and the demineralized bone powder; and a step (e) of freeze-drying the mixture for forming a bone graft material, is provided. According to the above-described preparation method of the present invention, a demineralized bone-derived carrier having suitable viscosity for use as a carrier for preparing a bone filler may be prepared. In addition, by introducing the demineralized bone-derived carrier, a bone graft material consisting of the demineralized bone only and accordingly having excellent bone induction and biocompatibility as well as excellent shape retention is provided.
