Abstract:
This boring device (10) is provided with: a rotating body (15) having a workpiece holder (23), a valve seat receiver (31), and a debris passage part (32); a laser emitter (18); a pump (44); and a control unit (19). The workpiece holder (23) is capable of holding a nozzle body (93). The valve seat receiver (31) contacts a valve seat (94) of the nozzle body (93) held by the workpiece holder (23). The laser emitter (18) emits a laser beam towards the outer wall side of the nozzle body (93) held by the workpiece holder (23), and bores a spray hole (98). The debris passage part (32) is located diametrically to the inside with respect to the valve seat receiver (31), and has a debris passage (34) for guiding debris produced during boring of the spray hole (98). The pump (44) sucks debris through the debris passage (34). The control unit (19) controls the laser output of the laser emitter and the suction power of the pump (44).
