Title:
BOUNDARY-LINE-DETECTING DEVICE, BOUNDARY-LINE-DEVIATION-DETECTING DEVICE, AND BOUNDARY-LINE-DETECTING PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/161600
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A driving-lane-deviation-detecting system detects painted lines drawn on the road surface to the right and left of a vehicle when detecting boundary lines (S120), and sets a hypothetical line on the basis of the position of previously detected boundary lines (S140). The system then sets a boundary line using the painted line and/or the hypothetical line (S150). However, if the system acquires proximity information showing that the vehicle is approaching a tollbooth, when the proximity information is acquired, the system forbids setting the hypothetical line as the boundary line (S130). Furthermore, the system assesses whether there is a danger of the vehicle deviating from the boundary line (S160), and when there is such a danger, the system outputs that there is a danger of deviation. Setting an incorrect hypothetical line as the boundary line is thus prevented.
