Abstract:

Provided are a bowling score calculation device, bowling score calculation method and computer program that enable new game results to be obtained. The bowling score calculation device, for each bowled ball of each frame of a new score, receives selection, from the results of a game serving as the basis for calculation, of which bowled ball of which frame number in any game to use, and on the basis of the number of fallen pins for the number of bowled ball in the selected frame in the selected game serving as the bowled-ball results, the device calculates a new score. Because results not dependent on skill can be obtained, children, adolescents, adults and seniors can enjoy the game together, and by introducing an element of good luck to the selection of games, frames and bowled balls through the use of a lottery or the like, realized is "five-generation supportive bowling" in which players across "five generations," including ancestors who introduce good luck to the game, can support each other.
