Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a box moving device for moving a box to a predetermined position, in which occurrence of an inconvenience that the box fails to arrive at the predetermined position is reduced, and which has high reliability. A box moving device (20) changes the position of a box (C) having four side surfaces (C11-C14). The box moving device (20) is provided with conveyors (21, 22) and a movement control unit (23). The movement control unit (23) drives the conveyors (21, 22) to move the box (C) from a first position to a second position. The conveyors (21, 22) can be switched between a first state of being contracted in the movement direction of the box (C) and a second state of being extended in the movement direction of the box (C). The movement control unit (23) switches the conveyors (21, 22) from the first state to the second state while driving the conveyors (21, 22) that are in a holding mode of holding at least one of the side surfaces of the box (C), so that the box (C) is moved from the first position to the second position.
