A system having an interface using a brain wave, in which there is no oversight of stimulation for calibration about a brain wave and high-accuracy calibration is realized. A brain wave interface system (1) comprises an interface section (100) for acquiring a brain wave of a user, identifying the P3 component of a visual event-related potential contained in the brain wave signal after an operation menu is presented, and allowing a device to operate according to the identified P3 component. A brain wave identification method adjusting device (10) is used for adjusting the identification method of the interface section (100). With reference to a database (13) defining the correlation between the P3 component of the event-related potential acquired by the stimulation to a modality other than the eyesight and the P3 component of visual event-related potential and the P3 component of the event-related potential after the stimulation is presented, the device (10) derives a feature value of the user in respect of the P3 component of the visual event-related potential and adjusts the brain wave identification method of the interface section (100) according to the feature value.
