Abstract:
Disclosed are a brake handle and a bicycle using same. The brake handle comprises a protective shell (1), a fixing assembly (2) used for cooperatively fixing the protective shell (1), a connecting member (3) used for being connected to a hand brake cable, and a hand brake assembly (4), wherein the hand brake assembly (4) comprises a main arm (30), one end of which is rotationally connected to the protective shell (1); the other end of the main arm (30) is rotationally connected to a handle (28); an acting force is applied to the handle (28) to drive the main arm (30) to rotate; when the main arm (30) rotates, the connecting member (3) is driven by means of a transmission member to move in the direction of tensioning the hand brake cable; an auxiliary supporting arm (29) is arranged on the handle (28); and two ends of the auxiliary supporting arm (29) are rotationally connected to the protective shell (1) and the handle (28). The acting force is applied to the handle (28) to drive the main arm (30) to rotate, and when the main arm (30) rotates, the connecting member (3) is driven by means of the transmission member to move in the direction of tensioning the hand brake cable to complete a braking action. During rotation, along with the rotation of the handle (28), a handlebar is approached, the angle between the main arm (30) and the auxiliary supporting arm (29) is decreased, the arm of force of a lever is increased, the required acting force decreases therewith, and the braking action can be maintained with the strength of the small hand of a child.
