Abstract:
In this brake light drive control device, when overcurrent is occurring in a semiconductor element circuit (20) in which a control unit (10) is used to output pulsed drive power to a brake light, a drive signal corresponding to brake pedal operation is output a predetermined number of times and then the output of said drive signal is stopped even if operation of the brake pedal is repeated several times. As a result, repeated on/off operation of a switching element that is a semiconductor element of the semiconductor element circuit (20) is reduced.
