Abstract:
The present disclosure is a braking control device that is applied to a vehicle and that comprises, for example, a hydraulic brake device that generates hydraulic braking force by pressing a braking member via hydraulic pressure toward a braked member that rotates integrally with vehicle wheels, and an electric brake device that generates electric braking force by pressing the braking member via drive force of a motor toward the braked member. The braking control device adjusts the hydraulic braking force so that a vehicle speed falls within a target vehicle speed range while the vehicle is traveling on a downhill road, and substitutes the electric braking force for the hydraulic braking force when at least one of the vehicle speed and the hydraulic pressure has stabilized.
